KRISTEN MARTINEZ Story

I like to consider myself one of the lucky ones who got to really and truly marry my best friend. My husband and I have known eachother since 1st grade. We gew up together, became best friends and after we each went through our fair share of failed relationships, we realized that we were looking for love in all the wrong places. With college behind us and the real world ahead of us, we decided to take on life together…and it was the best decision we ever made.

After nearly 10 years of marriage, 2 kids, a few moves and a whole lot of other major life moments, we both look back on our wedding day and smile. We got to celebrate our love in front of all our family and friends at my childhood home. We toasted, ate cake and danced until the early hours of the morning. I remember looking at my beautiful dress the next day and couldn’t help but smile…it was COVERED with dirt, grass stains and spills. Every stain on them showed just how much fun we had. I knew after a good, professional cleaning, it would be good as new, but until then, I liked seeing the aftermath of our perfect day when we became husband and wife.
